gift of nature

GIFT OF NATURE
Evening came and i took the teapot while wondering about yesterdays incident.i looked out of the window at the sky as i washed the teacup.after having my tea i went for my evening walk, slowly walking towards the castle of the yesteryear where once upon a time lived the royal family.i thought about the king walking in the lawn of the house with the early morning flowers, dreaming in the sweet fragnance.the trees in the garden spread their branches as if they were hiding invisible people within them.from the branches was tied an earthen pot with a garland of flowers wrapped around it.the wind blew the pot turning it sideways.the water inside it was slowly dripping onto the ground.a small white flower bloomed beneath the tree, shining like a glowworm in the moonlight.nearby the dry leaves were scattered on the grass which grew in patches around the tree.i could see a smoke blowing from the ground as if the dew drops had fallen on the ground sprinkling on the fire within.where they dropped a small smoke arose like a newly lighted matchstick.as the fire was blown off by the light wind blowing through the sky, the smoke slowly drifted away towards the other smokes and became a wild smoke which swayed in the wind, swirling as it rose towards the sky, singing in the evening calm as if it were the fountain of life.deceiving itself about its glory and desire to blow above itself and then falling once again to where it had all started from giving us the realisation that we fall back to,where we had once started from.while thinking about the smoke i suddenly approached the old banyan tree on which the cuckoo sang in the spring and beneath which people kept the idols of god which had been immersed in the water after the puja. The idols floating in the water were images of humanity, with glowing lamps thanking the divine for blessing us with the glory of life.i stood beneath the tree calming my senses by the cool wind which blew through the leaves of the tree onto the waves, making ripples which spread on the shores like tiny droplets of life.the chirping birds sat on the branches of the trees singing the songs of nature.covered by the leaves their feathers shone in the moonlight as they swayed on the branches in the light breeze.
